I understand

"Monitoring of fuel consumption of machines has improved and safed plumbless money. System also fulfilled our quality demands and vehicle control.

Mrs. Viera Týlešová, AQUASTAV, a.s.

AQUASTAV, a.s. was established in 2002 as engeneering-construct company. This year it will celebrate 11th anniversary. The main activity of company is building construction. More information about company told in interview Mrs. Viera Týlešová

  1. Could you please describe what type of constructions does your company realize?

“The company operates in three areas – water and ecological management, building construction and engineering. To the first area belong activities as vacuum and pressure canalization, gravity sewer system, construction and reconstruction of water pipes. Except mentioned activities we realize also horizontal extrusion and controlled overpressure in trenchless construction technology. Engineering area consists of all road construction layers and surfaces by concrete cam pavement of all designs. “

  1. What projects can we see?

„Our projects are in this way more less invisible. But I can mention realization of water pipe and canalization construction in 2006 in Senica district. The same project we realized also during 2011-2013 in Borský Mikuláš, Trstená and Bernolákovo. In 2010 we worked on water pipes transloading in Stupava during highway construction.

  1. Do you use your own vehicles/machines for work?

“Mostly, we use our own vehicles but in case of larger orders we use vehicles of our long year’s suppliers. At present our fleet consists of 12 referent vehicles, 3 trucks and 10 machines. “

  1. Very important in your work is to have information and overview about work and activity of machines and employees. How do you gain and evaluate information about vehicles?

“At beginning we have evaluated information about vehicles according to real bought fuel and driven kilometers, which were noticed in drive book manually. Average fuel consumption was evaluated quarterly and when it was higher than data in registration book we noticed drivers personally. In this case we have also evaluated data according to technical state of vehicle, what could cause fuel consumption increase.”

“Documentation of machines was more difficult, because evidence of engine hours was not very consistently noticed. Rate of fuel consumption/engine hours in comparison to average fuel consumption from producer was too high. And this fact was the stimulus for management in thinking how to control vehicles to lower consumption. The result was vehicle tracking.”

  1. What was the main reason you have started to use monitoring system?

“The main reason was mentioned high fuel consumption of machines. An expectation from monitoring system was to provide visibility and maximal work out of machines during work. This target was by previous monitoring system fulfilled by our demands increased. Mainly in fuel consumption monitoring of JCB and UNC machines, what was problematic.”

  1. Therefore you have decided to change supplier of monitoring system? What were the criteria you have chosen the new system?

“Over the years we have watched the other organizations which use vehicle monitoring. This way we have found monitoring system Dispečer. It provided us lot of positives which led to system application into our company in 2012.”

  1. What has brought this system to your company?

„After system familiarization, outcomes control and evaluation we have confirmed that our decision and investment to new monitoring system was right. Monitoring of fuel consumption of machines has improved and safed plumbless money. System also fulfilled our quality demands and vehicle control. “

  1. In the end, what do you consider the greatest success of your company?

“The greatest success of our company is that despite the crisis in building constructions has the company orders and closed contracts. Responsible approach of employees and good work management assures us to be competitive.”
